With its 275 grams (US9), Oribi BUGrip is one of the world's lightest winter running shoes. The seamless upper in bluesign® Polyester mesh is flexible and a laminated Weather Shield provides good protection against moisture when running in snow. The upper part also has a TPU mudguard that protects when running in rocky terrain. The lacing system is seamless and together with an internal elastic, the foot is enclosed in a very tight and comfortable way. The tongue is thin which gives a direct feeling. The heel coat is soft, with a slightly padded collar and a good heel grip. The midsole has an integrated Rock Shield that protects the foot from impact in rocky terrain. The midsole is sufficiently torsionally rigid to relieve the foot and is also designed to provide a certain energy reproduction in the firing step of the running step. The damping is medium and in perfect balance with a drop of 7mm.
