Switchback 2 Switchback 2 is the sequel to last year's successful debutant in the trail running market. The model was highly praised thanks to the combination of low weight, a ground-level profile, 4 mm drip and a lot of flexibility. The shoe offers a new type of feeling of freedom, and is suitable for both tempo and distance training on a varied surface. The new version also has several exciting updates. The entire midsole has been upgraded with PWRRUN +, which is 28% lighter and 5% more shock-absorbing than previous materials. A carbon fiber fabric has been integrated between the outsole and the midsole, which distributes the pressure and protects the foot against the uneven surface. Switchback 2 has also been updated with a gaiter that is more protective for feet and lacing. The trail-adapted FORMFIT construction combined with the BOA lacing creates an excellent fit around the entire foot. From below, optimal comfort and individual pressure distribution are created, as the top of the midsole is cupped around the heel and lifted in the hollow foot. For the best possible protection, grip and durability, the outsole consists of two-density PWRTRAC rubber, which means that the runner gets past all possible obstacles in its path.
